PROJECT DESCRIPTION: KITCHEN ELECTRICAL ROUGH-IN WITH OVEN CIRCUIT & WAFER LIGHTING – NAPLES, FL
We recently completed the demo and electrical rough-in of a kitchen remodel project in Naples, FL 34102. The homeowner needed a dedicated oven circuit along with new recessed wafer lighting to modernize and brighten up the space.
WHAT WE DID:
-
Ran a new dedicated oven circuit directly from the electrical panel to meet code and handle load requirements.
-
Installed (10) energy-efficient wafer LED lights evenly spaced throughout the kitchen area.
-
Secured wiring and devices per NEC standards to ensure safety and long-term reliability.
-
Coordinated rough-in around demo/construction schedule to keep the remodel moving forward on time.
-
Verified circuit and lighting functionality before close-up.
THE RESULT:
The kitchen is now set up with proper electrical infrastructure for the homeowner’s new oven and upgraded LED wafer lighting. With the rough-in complete, the remodel can progress smoothly toward finishing stages. The lighting layout ensures even, modern illumination, while the dedicated oven circuit provides safety and reliability.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long does a kitchen rough-in take?
Typically, 1–2 days depending on circuit needs, fixture count, and demo conditions.
Why does an oven need its own circuit?
Ovens draw high current and must be on a dedicated circuit to comply with code and ensure safe operation.
Are wafer LEDs a good choice for kitchens?
Yes—wafer LEDs are low-profile, energy-efficient, and provide bright, even lighting without bulky housings.
Do you handle both demo and electrical work?
We handle the electrical side of demo and rough-in, working alongside contractors as needed.
