How do I know if I need a repair or a full replacement?

We’ll tell you after we see it. Some issues are simple fixes. Others — wrong panel for the home’s load, known-defective equipment, years of deferred problems stacked on top of each other — are better solved with a replacement. We won’t push you either way.

How long does a panel replacement take?

Most jobs are done in a single day. We’ll give you a specific timeline before we start so you can plan around it.

How long will my power be off?

There’s a window during the swap where the power will be out. We work as efficiently as we can to keep it short and we’ll let you know what to expect before we get started.

Do I need a permit for this in Florida?

Yes — panel replacements require a permit and a final inspection. We pull the permit and handle the inspection scheduling. You don’t have to chase that down yourself.

I have a Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel. How worried should I be?

Worried enough to call us. Those panels have a documented history of failure and fire risk. We’d rather come out and give you a real assessment than have you sitting on it.

Can you size the panel for an EV charger or generator at the same time?

Yes — and honestly that’s the right time to do it. If you’re already replacing the panel, we’ll make sure it’s sized to handle whatever you’re planning to add so you’re not calling us back in a year.
