Electrician Services » New Construction Electrical – Luxury Residential & Commercial
If you’re building from the ground up, the electrical work isn’t something you want to figure out later.
Once the walls are closed, everything becomes harder and more expensive to change. Lighting ends up in the wrong spots. You realize you need more power than you planned for. Or the space just doesn’t function the way you expected it to.
That’s why the electrical side of a new build needs to be thought through early.
At Coharbor Electric, we work with homeowners, builders, and commercial clients during the construction phase to get the electrical system right from the start. We handle full rough-ins, panels, lighting, power, and final trim, and we keep communication simple throughout the process.
The goal is straightforward: a clean, reliable electrical system that works the way the space is actually going to be used.
We come in during the construction phase and stay through final inspection. That includes the rough-in work before the walls close, panel installation and sizing, all circuit planning and wiring, lighting layout, and final trim once the build is complete. We coordinate directly with your builder or GC to stay on schedule and flag anything that needs to be addressed before it becomes a problem later.
Coharbor Electric is veteran-owned and family-operated. We’ve built our reputation in Southwest Florida on straight communication, clean work, and showing up when we say we will — which matters a lot on a construction timeline.
With 650+ five-star Google reviews and a fully licensed, insured team, we bring the same level of care to a new build that we bring to every job. Builders come back to us because we don’t create problems on the job site. Homeowners come back because the electrical system works exactly the way they expected it to.
We work on new construction projects throughout Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Port Charlotte, and the surrounding area — residential and commercial.
As early as possible — ideally during the planning phase before framing starts. The earlier we’re involved, the easier it is to get the electrical layout right without working around decisions that have already been made.
Yes. We’re used to coordinating with GCs and other trades on the job site. We show up on schedule, communicate clearly, and keep the electrical moving so it doesn’t hold up the rest of the build.
Typically that covers the rough-in, panel installation, all circuit wiring, lighting, outlets, switches, and final trim. We’ll scope the full job before we start so there are no surprises on either end.
Yes — all new construction electrical work in Florida requires permits and passes through inspection. We handle the permitting process and work through every required inspection so the job is properly closed out.
Yes. We work on custom homes, production builds, and commercial projects. The process is similar — early involvement, clean rough-in work, and staying on schedule through final trim.
The earlier we’re involved, the smoother the electrical side of your project goes. Call Coharbor Electric to talk through what you’re building and we’ll figure out the best way to work together.
