Except with EV chargers, the honest answer really does depend on a couple things we can’t skip past — mainly, what your panel looks like right now and how far the charger’s going from it. If you’re in a condo or HOA community, the electrical cost side can look different than a standalone home. Charging from your own unit’s panel keeps costs close to the baseline above. Shared charging setups with sub-metering, or load management systems for buildings with multiple owners wanting chargers, involve costs that get spread differently — sometimes through the association rather than a single owner’s invoice. What to Watch Out For on Quotes

A quote noticeably lower than everything else usually means something’s missing — no permit included, panel capacity never actually checked, or a circuit sized smaller than the charger actually needs to hit a lower number. That’s not a savings, it’s a risk sitting in the wall waiting for the wrong day.
