We recently wrapped up an overhead fan installation at a commercial facility located in Fort Myers, FL. The job involved two large ceiling fans mounted at just over 25 feet, plus the removal of an older unit—all done overnight to avoid disrupting daytime operations.

• Installed (2) Basic 6 ceiling fans, 16-foot diameter, 2.0HP, 3-phase, 400–480V
• Used beam mounts with 2-foot extension tubes to hit the target mounting height of 25.5 feet
• Provided and used a mechanical lift for safe access to the 27.5? ceiling
• Set up standard wired control systems for both fans
• Removed an existing fan unit that had reached end-of-life

The facility now has improved air movement across the floor, which makes a noticeable difference—especially during warmer months. The new fans are energy-efficient, quiet, and built to last. 1. How long did the job take from start to finish?
   The full install, including setup and cleanup, took 7 hours and 40 minutes. We started around 8:00 PM on a Friday and wrapped up before 4:00 AM Saturday.
2. Why was a lift necessary?
   The ceiling height was just under 28 feet, so a lift was essential for safe and efficient access. Our team brought the lift as part of the setup.
3. What kind of fans were installed?
   We used two Basic 6 fans—each 16 feet in diameter, powered by a 2.0HP motor, and designed for industrial spaces. They run on 3-phase power and are known for durability.
4. Was any old equipment removed?
